Appreciate Return and Exchange Options
"No idea which pants this review is being requested for. The recent DPYP, 2 pocket Aubergine, 7 pocket Black, 4 pocket Charcoal, and Roma Jeans all fit slightly different. The Jeans are true to size! I love the way they fit. The dress pants are all cut strange now. They are really tight and form fitting in the stomach and larger in the legs. I ordered an XL in all. The Aubergine had to be exchanged for a larger XXL. The waist was just too tight on the XL. All my other pants I bought years ago fit great - L. & XL. XL were just a bit roomier for those bloated days. The material is great on all of them. They are buttery smooth, albeit a little thinner than my older ones. The pockets and waistband belt loops on the black DPYP are fraying after 1 wash! My other ones didnt do that for at least a year. I can't return or exchange them now so that's a drag since I have worn and washed them. I will only buy them on sale going forward."

Love my new pants!
"I love my new wide-leg pants. I am a true size 6 and the medium fit great! They are a little long, but I wear heels to work, so that doesn't bother me. If you want to wear them with flats, I suggest getting the "short" version. They are high-waisted and VERY comfortable - I bought two pairs!"

I Guess Pay Now is Better than Nothing But…
"I’ve loved Betabrand clothes for YEARS. That being said, I remember when you had free returns, some of the material quality was much better and the prices were MUCH more reasonable than they are now. Nothing on the site is affordable currently at full price and they’re not much better even with sales which really sucks, bcuz I used to buy nearly every item that came out. I can maybe get a couple items a year now. I guess the Pay Now is better than either not being able to return items at all, or trying to figure out how to ship your items back on your own while paying out the nose for it too, however with the price rate hikes, free return shipping is the least you can do. I mean, all the other “upscale” brands offer free returns! It’d be so awesome if you’d bring your prices back down some and offer free returns or even store credit to purchase whatever you’d like instead of being limited to the same style which most people return because they found that style doesn’t suit their bodies. You wanted my feedback, so I’m just being honest."

Customer service practically non-existent
"I initially emailed customer support on 1/13/26 regarding an order where the wrong style and size pants were sent. After a week of no answer, I reached out again on 1/19/26 and your customer service rep responded on 1/21/26 asking me to send photos of the pants, and I did so that afternoon and have not heard back. I tried reaching out again on 1/27/26 and 2/7/26, with no response. It has been over four weeks since have provided all of the information requested by your rep and am awaiting next steps to send these back to get the correct style."

Oh how I miss the 3x tall sizing
"Betabrand was a breath of fresh air. Good tall plus pants. Then they stopped and nothing since then fits right. Please bring back the 3x tall. Sincerely, missing them."

Unable to exchange
"I paid for the free returns and I missed the return window because I gifted the pants to my sister who lives further away. By the time she got the pants back to me it was past the window and they would not even just let me exchange sizes. Waste of money. It's too bad because I used to really like this brand and always had good experiences."

I dropped off at UPS, but BetaBrand never got it :-(
"I have now learned the hard way: always save the receipt/tracking number for your returns! I bought a pair of the pants I love as a gift for my cousin bestie- always risky to guess someone's size, so I paid for that free return option. They didn't fit her well, I went ahead and order her correct size, then packaged up the original pair and dropped them at the UPS office. But I guess BetaBrand never received them? I've been in touch with both UPS and BetaBrand, but without that tracking number, I guess I am just out of luck. (And out that money. ) Boo."

Beta Brand: Making My Denim Obsession Surprisingly Easy
"I have a hoard of original Beta Brand DPYP and jeans—basically enough denim to open a small museum—and usually, I think I know my size. But props to them for the new Pay Now system: the free returns are basically therapy for my indecisive wardrobe choices. I did a return not once, but twice, and somehow ended up with pants that actually fit me. Like, magical. I’ll absolutely be using this again… probably more than is strictly reasonable."

returns should be free of charge
"This is a review of the fact that I had to pa for return postage in case I wanted to return the item I bought. I did have to return the item, because the fabric was very thin and showed ever bit of the pockets underneath because they would not stay in place. They were loose at the waist and so tight in the calves that the pants were also being pulled down. They should not be selling these pants, much less charging people extra to return them."
