11.8 ounces per square yard / 400 grams per square meter / 68% rayon, 27% nylon, 5% elastane
The original Betabrand wonder fabric. This luxuriously soft blend is more substantial than typical yoga-pant material, so there’s zero see-through. Yet it’s still light, breathable, and 4-way stretchy. And is it easy to care for? Oh yes. All our ponte is machine washable and wrinkle resistant.

This is our lightweight ponte infused with the extra-refreshing magic of CoolJade2.0™. Jade microparticles in the fabric heat more slowly than the surrounding air, forming a layer of coolness between you and your clothing.Ahhh!
8 ounces per square yard / 270 grams per square meter / 48% bamboo-derived rayon, 48% polyester, 4% elastane
Lightest fabric of them all! This buttery-soft performance blend has the same 4-way stretch as our original ponte, plus it naturally resists odor and wicks away moisture, so it (and you) stay fresher, longer. And did we mention this fabric is machine washable and wrinkle resistant? It’s enough to drive dry cleaners to despair.
Our ponte garments are designed to be stylish and sophisticated, but they’re soft and stretchy like the world’s comfiest yoga pants. Wrinkle resistant, too! The majority of our ponte offerings are a blend of rayon, nylon, and elastane.
This fabric is available in a variety of weights, from lightweight (320 gsm) to core weight (400 gsm). And by the way, gsm stands for “grams per square meter.”
Our ponte comes in a variety of limited-edition colors, prints, and textures!
We’ve made ponte even better for warm weather with an infusion of CoolJade2.0™ in select products. Jade microparticles in the fabric heat more slowly than the surrounding air, forming a layer of coolness between you and your clothing.
Our ponte is so easy to care for. With few exceptions, you can simply wash our ponte garments in cold water on the gentle cycle, then lay them flat to dry.
