Chef-Styled Kitchen-Ready Denim Jeans

The days of chef pants are long gone. So says San Francisco Chef Chris Cosentino, who reports that everyone in the kitchen of his restaurant Incanto just wears jeans.

That got him thinking: Why not create a pair of jeans especially for chefs? And so the co-creator of Gluttony PantsMeat Feet Socks , and Butcher Briefs  decided to team up with our designers once again.

With a relaxed fit and vented crotch, Chef Jeans are made to keep chefs cool in the kitchen. Their bone tack button and branded leather patch are an homage to Chef Cosentino's whole-hog approach to cooking, plus they feature pocket bags and contrast details that match his favorite apron.

IMPORTANT RAW DENIM NOTE: Chef Jeans are made of raw denim fabric has been specially processed using pigment dyes that wash down beautifully over time with natural fading for a vintage look.

This garment has NOT been pre-laundered and, due to the nature of pigment dyes, both wet and dry bleeding will continue to occur. Wash separately or with like colors, and avoid dry contact with light colored clothing or upholstery.

NEW BIGGER SIZES: This is Betabrand's first pair of pants to be available in size 42 and 44.

Chris Cosentino

San Francisco's Chris Cosentino is a former winner of Bravo's Top Chef Masters as well as chef of Incanto and Boccalone artisan meats. He's best known for his offal dishes and his nose-to-tail dining.

He's also known as @offalchris on Twitter and can be found at the Ferry Plaza every and Saturday morning shopping for the restaurant.

Cosentino's first Betabrand product, Gluttony Pants, were an enormous success. So, in the interest of having some more fun, here we go again.
