Incredible Inventions, Ready To Ship

STL Shell & other new, ready-to-ship inventions.

Should you suddenly feel a disquieting rumble beneath your feet, relax: It’s just these earthshaking new products we’re excited to tell you about — inventions so momentous, in fact, we can only compare them to the finest achievements in the history of mankind. And we do just that below.

These pants, shirts, and jackets are now in stock and ready to ship. We made just a limited batch of each, so don’t delay.

STL Tyvek Wind Shell

Bre Pettis has created a minimalist hooded jacket made of the same space-age Tyvek fabric as our Space Jacket, just without all the insulation that cosmic exploration requires.

Bre’s design was inspired by the tessellated patterns of 3D-mapped images, and the name is an homage to the file format (.STL) used by 3D rendering programs — not the St. Louis airport.

(Historical comparison: Around 3,500 BC, Bronze Age daredevils invent the wheelie.)

Lightweight Dress Pant Sweatpants

Fed up with ordinary work trousers, thousands of gentlemen around the world have turned to the surreptitious comfort of Dress Pant Sweatpants.

And now, just in time for summer, we’re offering a trio of lighter-weight options, all featuring the same good looks and top-notch construction of the ridiculously relaxing originals. In brown, navy, and gray.

(Historical comparison: In 1940, Colonel Sanders perfects his secret recipe for obesity.)

Haeckeloha Shirts

A trio of Hawaiian-style shirts featuring prints inspired by 19th century biologist Ernst Haeckel and his gorgeous illustrations of cavorting wee beasties. Available in redtan, and navy.

(Historical comparison: In 1889, Haeckel discovers that amoebas can be real A-holes sometimes.)

Après Sweatpants

What to wear after surfing, skiing, or otherwise getting pleasantly sweaty and disheveled — when you don’t have the time or inclination to shower, but still have obligations involving human contact?

How about pants for all your post-activity activities: casual drawstring trousers with all the softness and comfort of good ol’ sweatpants, but none of the public indignity.

(Historical comparison: In 1793, drunkard Eli Whitney fails to invent a quaffable cotton gin — but inadvertently starts the Industrial Revolution.)
