Clare Eiluned: A Musical Model Citizen In Iceland

Model Citizen musician Clare Eiluned recently visited Iceland in the comfort of her Vagisoft Hoodie. She sent us this original jingle on ukulele from Reykjavik, as well as the following dispatch:

“Iceland. In March. The landscape is breathtaking, the people are welcoming, and the weather is BLOODY COLD. Luckily, I had the Betabrand Vagisoft Hoodie on under and over various layers of clothing for the better part of the trip. I changed the shirt underneath each day, of course, though I’m sure nobody would have noticed a smell anyway, given that Iceland smells of rotten eggs most everywhere on account of all the sulfur.

Inspired by the dizzying majesty of this land of fire and ice, this time I’ve taken a stab at writing my own song. Like the jazz numbers in which I so delight, the lyrics and melody are light, with the strength of love the overarching theme. Here’s hoping it’s any good!”

Clare Eiluned is a musician, illustrator, and general “ideaswoman” who suffers from a severe case of wanderlust. You can follow her on Twitter and YouTube.
