Model Citizen Ryan Rosinski is a Hip Hop dancer out of Northeast Ohio. He’s donned the Disco Pants & Hoodie in recent self-produced videos, several of which have been picked up by the popular dance community Youtube channel itsMRich.
We asked Ryan to tell us a little bit more about himself:
“I began dancing 9 years ago at the age of 15. I began break dancing at first and when I seen the style called “Poppin” that was it:-) Absolutely loved it right when I saw it. I was so intrigued by how somebody could move their body in such a unhuman-like way. After winning numerous talent shows in my area, I knew that being on stage was for me and was something I really enjoyed.
Being a self taught dancer is sometimes rough. Especially in a area where nobody else really does your style. You are forced to learn and create on your own. This, I believe, is what really made me such a unique dancer–practicing by myself for so many years and continuing to create from my own thoughts and ideas. Now, at the age of 24, I am a professional dancer that has performed around the US in areas such as Arizona, South Dakota, Utah, Michigan, and Ohio–just to name a few.
I have taught dance for 5 years now at a total of 10 locations in my home state of Ohio. Also, I was seen on the hit show “So You Think You Can Dance” and have been seen by millions on my more than 1,000,000 viewed youtube page. I continue to grow and do my passion as my job and career daily. I can honestly say that “I love my job” Perhaps that is why if you ever see me more than likely I will be smiling:-) Stay cool everybody and always keep positive.”
