Betabrand’s New Après Sweatpants

Après Sweatpants! Now In Crowdfunding, Along With Quite A Few Other Cool Things

In today’s newsletter: pants for post-activity activities, Bike to Work Polos, a pulse-quickening Ash Miller update, and more.

New Après Sweatpants

Say hello to Californian Scott Surface, creator of wonderful new Après Sweatpants. (He’s the one with the surfboard.)

What to wear after surfing, running, or otherwise getting pleasantly soiled and disheveled — when you don’t have the time or inclination to shower, but still have obligations that might involve human contact? Scott proposed a pair of casual drawstring trousers with all the softness and comfort of sweatpants, but none of the public indignity.

For further explanation, please consult this empirically infallible diagram:

Après Sweatpants are designed to be worn out and about, especially after you’ve worked out. Slip into these brushed-flannel beauties and head right over to happy hour. Or go run some errands. Or just sit back, relax, and try to remember where you put your keys.

Whatever your plans, they’re the perfect pants for post-activity activities.

The Bike To Work Polo

Introducing the newest addition to our Bike to Work Collection. Potential addition, that is — like Après Sweatpants, we’ll make the Bike to Work Polo only if enough folks support it. We hope they do, because we’re pretty fond of it.

Bike to Work Polo

Here are a few details about this latest creation from designers Steven B. Wheeler and Jason Van Horn:

  • Lightweight, ultra-breathable, quick-drying — just like your favorite cycling jersey.
  • Quarter-zip placket with hidden nylon coil zipper.
  • Mesh-lined chest pocket with snap closure and mesh pocket bag.
  • Two rear mesh-lined pockets with envelope-style closures.

Ash Miller Jacket Report: Your Help Needed!

With less than two weeks to go, the rather dashing Ash Miller Quick-Shift Jacket is 80% funded. Which means we must sharpen our salesmanship a bit, which means calling upon none other than Mr. Ash Miller — race-car driver, expert Irish dancer, and goodness knows what else — to stop the fascinating thing he’s invariably doing right now in order to show off his namesake jacket.

More Crowdfundable Creations

What do all of the items below have in common, besides not being made of elk hide? Why, each of them is a Think Tank prototype that recently reached its funding goal — and then some. That means when you fund them now, you’re essentially pre-ordering, because they’re guaranteed to be made soon. You’ll also save 10%.
