Blueberry Craftsman Pants
The agronomists at Betabrand Farms have been hard at work developing a new line of products inspired by some of our favorite fruits and vegetables. We call it the Betabrand Harvester Collection. We’ll be releasing these farm-fresh inventions throughout the year, according to the California harvest calendar.
That’s right: You can look forward to new Harvester products hitting our virtual shelves just as their ripe counterparts are arriving at the farmers market.
And here’s the first bumper crop of the season: freshly picked pants. Specifically, a late-spring sensation we call Blueberry Craftsman Pants, our take on the classic utilitarian trouser.
We made them from 100% lightweight organic cotton canvas, so they’re soft and super-comfy —
but durable like salt-of-the-earth pants should be. And their ripe namesake color comes from a low-impact, enviro-friendly dyeing technique. (While blueberries can be rather purplish,

Blueberry Craftsman Pants come loaded with a pair of patch pockets front and back, plus a
handy front coin pocket and a utility pocket on the side, roomy enough for essentials like an iPhone, vine clippers, or one Macho-Extreme Larabar.
Other little goodies include antique brass rivets and buttons, burgundy stitching details, and flat-felled seams for super-sturdiness.
