Betabrand Sock Insurance: The Rules
Compared to term life insurance, Betabrand Sock Insurance is a breeze to understand. There are just a few things you need to remember:
- Sock Insurance is valid up to one year after you purchase a pair of Betabrand Insured Socks.
- We will replace up to two single socks per pair.
- If you lose a sock, go to any Betabrand Insured Sock page to submit a claim, which basically involves you uploading a funny photo and sharing it on Facebook. Roll over the Submit A Claim button on your left to get started.
- To get a policy, you need a Facebook account. You can still buy the socks without an account, of course, but we won't be able to send you replacements.
- To claim your replacement sock, you must upload a photo. We'll then send you a beautiful new foot covering lickety-split.

Step 1: Purchase any pair of Betabrand insured socks. They're made from a cotton-poly blend to be soft and super-comfy, not to mention pretty darn good-looking.
Step 2: Should you lose one of them, go to any Betabrand Insured Sock page and submit a claim. All you have to do is upload a photo of yourself holding your lone remaining sock. Make this photo as ridiculously funny as you see fit.
Step 3: Once you've uploaded that photo, just “Like” it (in the Facebook-y sort of way), and we’ll ship your replacement sock, free of charge! (Yes, you must have a Facebook account to be insured.)
Step 4 (Optional): When you get your new sock, show the world how happy you are! Snap a photo of you and the new couple, and upload it to our site.
